Dear Friend,
Hello and welcome to my website. I offer hands-on and distant energy healing; Spiritual Healing (NFSH student member) Reiki and specialist Equine Reiki, Animal Communication, Equine Facilitated Learning (EFL), Animal Bereavement healing - for humans and animals, Flower Essence Therapy, Zoopharmacognosy and Horse Gentling. Over the past few years, my work with animals has grown and evolved into something that no longer fits any one existing label. Working with and caring for our own herd of 11 liberated horses as well as our resident goats, dogs and cats has given me extremely valuable insight into interspecies communication, emotions, health, behaviour and non-human communities. My work is my passion and my passion is my work.
'Alternative' or 'complimentary' therapies, including Reiki, Spiritual Healing and energy work are often turned to as 'the last resort' often when other orthodox or traditional medical treatments have failed. As healers we are often called in at the last moment or when almost all hope has been lost. Although healing can and does so often help at these times, it does not have to be this way - you don't have to wait until things get that serious to try healing. All physical and emotional problems manifest themselves after the problem or issue has existed within the energy-field of the human or animal for some time. Healing can work both preventatively and correctively. However, if we can clear, re-balance and re-charge that energy-field before problems get worse (become emotional and/or physical or increase in their severity) then we are working with healing in the most positive and potentially effective way.

Heart of the Herd is based in the Meon Valley in Hampshire, United Kingdom - Conveniently located between the Portsmouth, Southampton and Winchester areas. Heart of the Herd is founded by Emma Dinnage, a Human Equine Alliance for Learning (HEAL) Certified Facilitator. Emma offers healing for horses and healing with horses which is known as Equine Facilitated Learning - EFL
Emma Dinnage is the founder of Heart of the Herd a small centre that is concerned with Healing with horses, which can also be described as Healing through Horses, this is also referred to as Equine Facilitated Learning or EFL which is to say the least and in its very location Healing with horses Hampshire as Emma is based in the lovely Meon Valley in South Hampshire that is convenient for the cities to the south of Portsmouth and in a slightly more westerly direction Southampton and also the Hampshire county centre of Winchester. Emma’s work is not just about the interspecies communication techniques that horses bring to this learning from horses, which as I have mentioned before is also learning with horses but is also involved, and has received significant training as a reiki healer especially as a healer that uses reiki for horses which could also correctly be described as equine reiki or healing for horses or horse healing. This healing for horses and other animals which obviously we must not leave out, is useful for the resolving of traumas that may have previously occurred especially in rescue or rescued animals and horses, goats, pony or ponies and dogs and cats as well as many other animals that we love and keep as pets in our homes. Also offered is the very important service of animal bereavement that many of us need after the loss of a loved animal whether this is a household pet such as a dog or cat or the loss of a horse that has in many cases been a virtually lifelong friend and teacher.
